と言う感じで、親が一歳か二歳くらいの子に言っているのをよく見た。

sabotage 破壊行為

サボるとは破壊行為のこと。

何かの進行を妨げるために、意図的に破壊行為をすること。
以前、試験部品が不自然に繰り返し壊れてしまい、評価が進まないという出来事があって、その時に同僚が「わざとやっていやがる(It's a sabotage)」と言っていた。

call in sickも同じ意味。

Regionality(地域性)についてこんな分布図をみつけた。NY近辺ではcall out sick、それ以外はcall in sickの方が一般的らしい。経験的にはcall out sickの方が聞く気がする。
